This Technician Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Naija Instant Fix ("Company", "we", "us") and the individual or entity registering as a technician ("Technician", "you").
By registering on the Naija Instant Fix App, you agree to the following terms:
1. Independent Contractor Relationship
• Technicians are independent contractors, not employees, partners, agents, or representatives of Naija Instant Fix.
• Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, joint venture, or agency relationship.
2. Vetting & Screening
Naija Instant Fix conducts vetting and screening before approving technicians on the App. This may include:
• Identity verification
• Skill or trade assessment
• Document review
• Background or reference checks (where applicable)
Important: Approval does not guarantee job availability and does not remove the technician's responsibility to perform services professionally and lawfully.
3. Scope of Services
• Technicians provide repair, maintenance, and related services as listed on the App.
• Technicians are responsible for how services are performed and must meet reasonable industry standards.
4. Use of the App
Technicians agree to:
• Accept jobs only through the App
• Communicate with customers only through App-approved channels
• Receive payments only through the App
Off-App Jobs Prohibited
Accepting customers, payments, or service requests outside the App is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.
5. Off-Platform Liability Disclaimer
If a technician:
• Accepts payment outside the App
• Is contacted directly by a customer outside the App
• Provides services outside the App system
👉 Naija Instant Fix shall not be liable for disputes, damages, injuries, theft, fraud, or any outcome arising from such off-platform interactions.
6. Fees & Payments
• Naija Instant Fix will charge a service fee or commission per job.
• Payments are processed through the App according to the agreed structure.
• Technicians are responsible for their own taxes and statutory obligations.
7. Tools, Equipment & Safety
• Technicians provide their own tools and equipment.
• Technicians must comply with all safety, health, and legal requirements.
• Naija Instant Fix is not responsible for injuries sustained during service delivery.
8. Ratings, Reviews & Conduct
• Technicians are subject to customer ratings and reviews.
• Professional conduct is mandatory.
• Abuse, fraud, harassment, or dishonesty will result in immediate termination.
9. Insurance & Liability
Technicians are solely responsible for:
• Any damage caused during service
• Their own insurance (where applicable)
• Claims arising from their work
10. Account Suspension or Termination
Naija Instant Fix may suspend or terminate technician accounts for:
• Violating this Agreement
• Poor service quality
• Repeated complaints
• Bypassing the App system
• Fraud or illegal activities
11. Indemnification
Technicians agree to indemnify and hold harmless Naija Instant Fix from any claims, losses, damages, or legal actions arising from:
• Services provided
• Breach of this Agreement
• Off-platform transactions
12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
13. Acceptance
By registering and accepting jobs on the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
